KSL

I find it very annoying to read comments on KSLs' website regarding news stories! Why do people think they know anything about any situation, make harsh comments towards the victims and to each other. I want to start a blog about the conversations and arguments people are having so we can all read how to not be!

I don't even know why I read them................

We Are Back

Not that we didn't think we were to good for anyone who reads this blog but hello we are busy working and playing and of coarse Facebooking :)

I figure after almost a whole year I can catch people up on how awesome our lives have been and also because Reiley who is totally 2 1/2 is saying the funniest shit and I have to share.

Like tonight he told me in an angry voice "I'm outta here in 3 days" and then told me to "get out of his courtroom"

So we watch movies and he uses his quotes in context and it is cracking me up!

So about us!
Neal just arrived in Nashville to record lets see Royal Bliss' 8th album? Yeah I think 8th. After FINALLY taking my advice and brushing some dirt off of his shoulder he has started to make decisions on his own which I know were the best ones all along because hes cool like that! I know I can't wait to hear the final product after days and weeks and months of listening to the same rough mixes over and over and over. I along with thousands of other people am so proud of him and the rest of the band!

Me......still an amazing mom and wife! Still working for the Botox Master but have actually made some strong friendships and have started to follow through with personal goals, the first one being to follow through! Just this last weekend I decided to audition for an adult dance team that performs at random places around the valley and rehearses twice a week. I am thrilled beyond belief to be apart of something that I am actually good at not just a mom, a great employee or the lead singers of Royal Bliss' wife! I would love to really get into it and even start some of my own choreography, so we will see how it goes!

Reiley HOLY CUTEST KID ON EARTH. after a couple weeks of the terrible 2's I finally have Reiley Middleton Bob back, as he refers to himself. The kid is so smart and so handsome and sooooooooooooooo spoiled! This summer he has had a break from the Montessori I have had him in and has been going and going! Lots of time playing in water, playing with new daycare friends and growing an inch a night. We have 2 favorite movies #1 Petes Dragon #2 Cars. He thinks any male with long hair is Tom Petty an loves the song Free Fallin'. Anytime he hears Neals music or sees him on stage he is so proud to say " That's My Daddy" He has 4 obsessions~clocks~trains~cars and drums! It would take millions of years to catch you up on all the cute things he is doing so make sure to read this often so you don't miss out on a little piece of heaven while I talk about Rei!!!

I post some pics and try to stay caught up as much as possible! Man that felt good to brag about us!!!!

CANNON BEACH

Neal finally was able to be home for a few weeks and what a better way to spend those weeks than on a family vaca?

A 15 hour drive to and from with a 20 month old and hardly any money ended up being one of the most amazing vacations I have had in life! And lucky for us we got to share it all with Grandpa Mike and Grandma Paula.

I took 782 pictures and won't post them all but will try and put up an album if you are interested in seeing how much fun we had! \

We are home for a few days and back on the road. Lake Powell here we come!

FIRST REST STOP: TWIN FALLS! EVEN GOT TO SEE SOME BASE JUMPERS!

MALTINOMA FALLS JUST ABOUT TO PORTLAND

THIS IS IN ASTORIA...WHERE THE GOONIES WAS FILMED!

Happy Fathers Day!

Both Neal and I have such great fathers who are very important people in our lives. My dad absolutely loves Neal and I'm pretty sure Grandpa Mike Loves ma little to. Both dads have taught me and Neal so much, I am grateful we can use the lessons they have taught us as we are raising a toddler and I truly appreciate the love and support they both give us as we have started our family and one day will have more than 3!

Something funny about my dad is he never and I mean NEVER backs down from an argument but he will fully admit that I am the only one that can put him in his place! But believe I have put alot of blood, sweat and tears into being able to feit that almost impossible task!

Most people say that I am exactly like my dad. Pessimistic and stubborn but oh so full of so much love and compassion and the people in my life that I love know it!

Neal and his dad are quite similar as well. Both Paula and I have to make sure the boys are being gentle while fixing things around the house or else there superman strength is bound to break whatever is already broken! Neal looks up to his dad with so much admiration, I am so lucky that Neal possesses the same qualities as his dad when it comes to loving and respecting his woman. He always talks about how his dad is always out to make sure Paula is as happy as can be and notices how he always finds a way to be close to her and to be able to touch her by either holding her hand or touching her leg while they sit next to each other.

Neal, having the job that he does, obviously has a lot of temptation around, but I am so okay with this. Because not only does he not want to hurt me or let me down. He does not want to let his dad down. Thanks Mike!

Comparing Reiley to his dad. Well lets just say Mini Neal has taken over my house. He is as clumsy as his dad, loves music (he plays air guitar and head bangs) loves to eat and loves momma!

Neal is such a great dad. I am so glad we have had a chance to do some fun things as a family while Neal is home. We bought Reiley an awesome little pool. It would be great if it can stay warm so we can use it more than once! We have also gone to the Zoo, the aquarium and for Fathers Day went to Snowbird for a little beer, BBQ and music! I love being with my boys!

NananananaNEAL!

I feel kinda like a jerk. I never blog about how Neal is doing on and off the road and I feel like he deserves a little blog attention.

I am happy to say that he has been home for 5 days and it has been so so awesome! I love seeing him and Reiley together. Reiley was a little unsure of him for oh 30 seconds but now he won't leave him alone! I also love that I have someone to tickle me on the couch all night long, among other things :)

We took Reiley to the zoo yesterday and he wouldn't walk. He wanted his daddy to hold him the WHOLE TIME! Then, the other night as I was getting ready to put the kid to bed he went and laid his head on Neals leg and looked up at him and went in for a big kiss! He has such a tender heart and I am glad Neal can see how much Reiley loves him!

Royal Bliss has been busy busy! Neal has put his foot in both oceans twice this year and has been to 37 states. He hasn't played all 37 states but the ones he has they have been rocking their socks of!

The beginning of the tour started in Florida with Candlebox and ended in Atlantic City with Pop Evil, Chevelle and Buckcherry. I personally don't like any of those bands except CandleBox, but with Royal Bliss playing I think they made the bill!

We just found out that "Save Me", there 1st single off of Life In Between, is going to be realeased in Japan on the 1st of July. I can see those screaming nutzo Japanese fans faces now! Neals #1 goal (other than being filthy rich) is to be huge in Japan. There love for music never dies!

Tomorrow the band is going to visit a young girl in the hospital who has been severley burned! She has no clue about the surprise but appearantly she is a huge fan and one of her nurses is an old friend of Neals, so they got a time lined up to go and make this girls day!

I think that the coolest thing about Neal being in a band is the fact that his voice and his music uplift people and his messages are getting through! It really isn't all about fame and fortune. Neal being the genuine spirit that he is deserves to see the smile on young and old peoples faces, because they are smiling for him. Their lives have been changed forever. So has Neals!

My life as a momma............

Wake up-7:15
Shower
Get Reiley out of bed and make banana smoothie-7:30
Leave to take Reiley to day care 8:30
Get to work by 9
8 hours of work
Off @ 5:00
Dinner at 6:00
Bath time 7:00
Put Reiley to bed 8:00
Alone time which is nice, but lonely!

This is my routine 5 days a week and I HATE IT! Really I have 2 maybe 3 hours of the day to be with the light of my life. I hate the thought that his day care givers are with him more hours of the week than me. But I realize it is just a part of being a working parent. We have had the same routine down for months/year and has really kept Reiley right on track but when he is not right in front of my face with his big pearly whites flashing at me, I am sad!

Neal has been gone for a few weeks and doesn't get home for another 3 weeks. With all this time Neal has been gone I have really bonded with Reiley on a level I don't think anyone could really understand. Unless you are a single mother. I know all mothers love their children more than anything, but I guess I feel different because Reiley is all I have got! I don't have an extra set of hands and sometimes feel like I may not even be able to use me own. But the way Reiley makes me feel makes any bad moment go away! And lately I have had a few of them.

This is a hard way to raise a child, alone. I wish Neal could be around more to see how gosh dang smart his son is growing up to be. I know Neal feels the same way and I guess for Neal, he probably feels different for his son than any other dad. We both know though that what we are enduring as a family right now will be worth it in the end!

The time I do have with Reiley has been quite the adventure! We have been going to the Zoo, gardening, going to park after park and eating KFC, finger painting, wrestling, singing, you name it we have done it or we will be doing it on my next day off!

Reiley is full of words and loves to talk.
Ball, car, kittycat, cracker, wawa, shoe, and my momma, fly out of his mouth! Along with all the babble in between. He knows mommas ear, eye, ma ma mouth, nose, belly button and a mole on my stomach which he always has to point at and say "MO" oh and he loves to pinch my flabby stomach. Like I said he makes all the bad moment go away!
He is great at showing me the itsy, bitsy spider (the whole song). The kid can take directions like a soldier! I ask him to go put his shoes away and I find them in random drawers. And lately we have to wave and say goodnight to pretty much everything in the house before I can even close his bedroom door for bed time. Other than me being his favorite thing in the world I am sure Mazzy is his best friend! And I stopped giving him flax seed because I think it's working to well!

Mothers Day just passed and I feel so lucky to have such a beautiful son and such a wonderful husband, even though he is thousands of miles away he reminds me of how great I really am, because it is really hard to forget, and he always reminds me how much I am loved. I am so lucky. I truly feel that I have the 2 best men in the entire world! Neal and of coarse my lil Bubba!
