Moab-round 2

Round 2 for Moab trips this year, and yes we were taking punches!
Royal Bliss played The Desert Rocks Music Festival in Moab on Saturday night so we decided to make it a family affair. Neals parents came down for the weekend and my parents along with a lot of friends.

About this festival. I swear Jerry Garcia was wondering around there somewhere! WHOA I have never seen so much Tye-die,dreadlocks and tents at one place in my life. The festival was actually very fun and Royal Bliss definitley drew a crowd! Obviously, they were the best band there!

We were very excited to take Reiley to see his pops band for the first time, to bad he slept through the whole show:( After the show Neals parents took Reiley back to their hotel and kept him overnight. AHH his first sleepover! Went awesome, not even a fuss, slept all night, but was happy to see me in the morning. The kid loves to travel.

Our last night in town we went and camped out with the family. you can't stay in a motel the whole time you are in Moab. It's wrong. Unless it's freezing then it's okay. Which yeah....it was cold the whole trip, but we still camped. Neal had to get a little 4 wheeling in. Not only did Neal but so did Grandpa Mike. From what I hear he is a speed demon and took over the trail. That was shocking!

Since it was our last night we went and met up with some buddies who were camped out nearby. 8 of us made the treck over on the 4wheelers at 10 at night, sorry neighboors! It was a good time! My 50 year old pops came with us to share a few beers and sing around the campfire. Never boring!

After a fun round 2 we started heading home......then....we ran out of gas and had to pull of where there was no shoulder to pull of to, my parents were behind us the their motorhome THANK GOD! They took us to a gas station about 20 miles away to call a tow truck and in the mean time some one hit the back of our trailer that was pulled of to the side of the road. I am so glad we were not inside the truck. So insted of getting home at 5 in the evening we pulle din around 11 at night. Bummer punch but we are safe and home and ready for round 3!
