What a weekend for Neal and the boys of Royal Bliss. They were invited to play a show at the Gallivan for Viva La Revolution, put on by the local radio station 94.9 The Blaze. They played last year and of coarse they were the big hit. Everyone loves RB old and new fans! So this year they were opening for the 1990s act CandleBox and POD. I feel sorry fot those bands because they could not capture the audience as well as Royal Bliss!
My favorite part of the show is hearing the crowd cheer and singing along to the RB songs. I swear I get teary eyed evey time I hear it! It makes me so proud of not only the band but makes me so proud of Neal. What a great leader!
After the Viva show the boys went on to 3 days of dressing up, getting their hair and makeup done and another round of pictures taken so they look a little "more professional". I am proud to say I was hired for hair and makeup and felt like a professional myself! It was fun!
As we were wrapping up the last day of shooting Neal got a phone call from their booking agent asking if they would be intrested in opening for Stone Temple Pilots? HELLO!!!!! That is huge and of coarse they were going to do it. I have been a fan of Stone Temple Pilots for years and was excited to see them but so much more excited to see Royal Bliss play a big stage at the E center. Let me tell you-STP has nothing on RB and not because I a have a byest opinion! I am so proud of Neal for sticking with what he loves and being so humble about who he is and what he gives the world!! Way to go Babe!
