For those of you who don;t know Neal has been out on the road for the last 5 weeks. He has been touring all over the place and performing with some pretty big bands, and making lots of new friends and of course gaining tons of new fans. This last tour was a grueling schedule with the band having hardly anytime off. Show after show after show. It took a toll on the whole band but Neal particularly since he is singing his little heart out every night.

While they were getting to wrap up the tour Neal started feeling crumby and was having a lot of throat pain so he went to see a doc and turns out he has a hematoma on his right vocal cord which forced him to end the tour early and send him home.

Of coarse I am sad for him and am worried about his throat but YAY!!!! he's home. Me and Reiley were just going to celebrate on our own but we got to have dad home. He came home the day before Halloween. So we had a chance to carve the pumpkins I was sure were going to sit on my front porch uncarved until at least Christmas. We have never carved pumpkins together before, we wanted to include Reiley but he was napping and it was actually like a little date for us! The pumpkins sure turned out funny!

Since our plans were so last minute we just took Reiley over to moms house to at least answer the door for the other Trick Or Treaters. He didn't really care much about what was going on but he sure looked cute as a Skeleton!

The next night me and Neal went to friends party dressed as a Devil and a Fallen Angel. We usually end up throwing our costumes together the day of Halloween so I think they turned out pretty good. Neal loves to dress up. He was by far the hottest Devil I have ever seen!

Wow! Talk about deja vu! I learned to drive on a 1953 Farmall tractor, identical to the one in the photo of Reiley. In fact, I bought one a couple years ago and had it totally restored. The only difference between mine and the one in Reieley's picture is that mine has a chome exhaust pipe. Cool!
